I am a growth-minded, highly collaborative, and community-focused professional with a love for using data to improve the human experience. In my prior experience in the healthcare industry, I used data, paired with a DEI lens, to ensure that patients received effective and accessible services. By carefully listening to and observing patients’ needs and feedback, I was able to use qualitative and quantitative data to create, implement, and document meaningful changes that drastically improved the patients’ experience.Through my Master’s program, I further refined my ability to use data analysis to creatively solve problems and effectively communicate solutions. I gained experience in processing, analyzing, and visualizing large, complex data sets using Excel, Access, R, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx. This experience also included data quality assessment, database design, and developing data collection methods. I had the opportunity to work collaboratively with classmates on consulting engagements with a variety of local businesses. These engagements involved consulting with upper management to identify areas of need, after which we used our collective skills to present stakeholders with innovative, creative, and accessible data-driven solutions in both statistical and narrative forms.
