As Deputy Director of Center for Music National Service (MNS), which engages musicians as volunteers, instructors, and mentors in public schools, children's hospitals, and long-term care facilities for veterans, I managed day-to-day operations as well as strategic initiatives, including:- Program development and planning for growth of the MusicianCorps brand and program beyond the San Francisco Bay Area into new markets in Los Angeles and North Carolina- Budgeting and fiscal management of $720K nonprofit organization, including tax preparation support, program budgets, staffing, and fund development- Data and constituent management via Salesforce.com, creation of a new grants management protocol within Salesforce, and system administration- Supervision of 14 direct reports, including administrative program managers, AmeriCorps members, staff musicians and music therapists- Individual donor and grant cultivation

• Recommended and led procurement of Salesforce.com CRM service to maximize ability to serve constituents. Served as system administrator, and trained 40 employees.• Created and directed statewide financial services program, Bank On Illinois. Built public-private coalitions to promote new financial products for underserved communities. Trained employees to use database designed to track social, environmental, and financial outcomes of loans.• Built shared services financial model to streamline IT and HR across 13 affiliated companies.• Developed a $15M green energy project budget as part of a new framework for investment in low-income communities in Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit.
