Laura completed her LLB and Diploma at the University of Edinburgh. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and since then has worked in private practice specialising in corporate and commercial law matters. She is qualified in England and Wales, as well as Scots law.Her clients include entrepreneurs, investor groups and technology companies and she regularly acts for both investors and investee companies in a wide variety of equity investment deals.Laura is also a member of MBM’s Commercial Contracts and Intellectual Property team, advising in relation to a wide range of contractual matters including IP licensing, e-commerce and confidentiality.As a sponsor of Engage Invest Exploit, Laura is the firm’s representative and works with the organising committee in relation to this annual investor showcase. Laura has worked with LAUNCH.ed and given workshops to university students in relation to start up matters and investment. She is also a regular attendee of Business Forum Scotland.
