About Laura Pinkstone
My focus is to help deliver UX solutions based on regular testing from user research. I work with individuals and teams who are responsible for the day to day performance and development of their products and services, this could be a website or app or the in person experience a user has with you like in store. I will look to help organisations better understand their users' needs to make it easy for their customers to find their products and engage with them. I truly love what I do and enjoy how every day can be different which means I am always learning something new. From user research and understanding an organisation’s different audience groups, to looking at the journeys users can take on a site or app and the different interactions they can have. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favourite stage of a project is user testing and making sure the prod t or service meets the user’s needs. You can find out so much about the users and how they would use a site or app and it also informs any further enhancements. Before joining Digital Wonderlab, I worked for a digital integration company. In this role I led the company’s user experience efforts, in creating the best experience for the end user. I had the opportunity to work with some exciting clients such as AXA, Utilyx and Professional Standards Authority. One of the projects which was both challenging and rewarding was working with AXA Self Investor. When starting the project I had to learn and understand about investments to really know what a user was looking for and this was then applied to the journeys and goals of those users. By carrying out user testing on the work, I gained a better understanding about the users so that the website could be continually improved and this was reflected in the results.I am always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
Listed skills include Web Design, User Experience, Css, Photoshop, and 21 others.
