Born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest I represent my buyers and sellers with an enthusiastic attitude, identifying each client’s needs to help them to fulfill their real estate goals. I was raised in the Skagit Valley, but I’ve made my home in Snohomish County for over 20 years. I have a background in public relations, marketing and education, which helps in all aspects of the real estate process generating successful transactions. My degree is from Washington State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. After graduation, I briefly lived in Minnesota but returned to Washington because I couldn’t imagine raising my family anywhere else. My husband and I have 2 children and we are very active and connected in the community. In my spare time, I love assisting with my kids’ sport teams, working in their school, traveling and camping.

In my role, I develop and coordinate working and college learning experiences. These experiences include events such as College Fairs and Career Fairs, field trips, internships, apprenticeships, career pathway presentations and job shadows. I assist students and parents who are navigating through college applications, scholarships and financial aid. I also help students in resume writing, job searches and portfolio maintenance.I am always seeking opportunities to meet with community members and businesses that can help with providing learning opportunities and partnerships for Arlington students.

As the Career Services Specialist I worked to build relationships for our students, graduates and alumni with employers. I also provided support to those who were enrolled in ITT or have graduated in building resumes, portfolios and job searching strategies. My favorite part of my job was meeting with students and working with them as they excel in their college career.

Primary contact for students and IMA users regarding program and facility usage, policies and activities.Clerical support for Recreational Sports Programs administration, using Keynes, BNW, and eprocurement. Created and edited correspondence, printed materials, and news releases related to program policies, procedures, and operations. Editing included: accuracy, appearance, readability, and style.Compiled data, historical activity reports and other materials for department publications, university information and budget reports. Oversaw billing for summer programs and special events. Created and maintained records and files.Created statistical databases, spreadsheets and word processing tasks, which included: working with graphics, merging and sorting, and uploading and downloading complex files. Collaborated, coordinated, planned, promoted, researched and evaluated all activities for the Up All Night program, which provides events on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings as an alternative to drinking, servicing 12,000 students annually, with a budget of $100,000 for 17 events per school year.Created, implemented and evaluated campus wide programs including management of facilities equipment, and organizing volunteers; Leading multiple activities during the same time at Up All Night events.Created and developed event ideas and activities; followed through individually on projectsWelcomed participants, during Up All Night events, allowing the students to feel at ease and included at each activity.Created and implemented public relation management plan as Public Relation manager of PRSSA students for the Up All Night program, gathered and compiled surveys of general student population and specifically multi-cultural students. Community liaison to Campus Involvement, Greek Life, and Associated Students of Washington State University, 2003-2005Designed and developed a program to effectively solicit corporate donations and corporate goods, which resulted in a 100% increase of donations since April 2003.Designed, developed and delivered to Service and Activity Fees Committee budget request resulting in a funding increase for the 2004-2005 academic school year.Participated as a member of hiring committee for Up All Night undergraduate student, Campus Involvement Director and Assistant Director positions.
