Laura is an experienced communications, strategic planning, and philanthropy professional, with over eight years of expertise in project management, external and internal PR, capital campaigns, and development. She has led and overseen campaigns resulting in over $10M funds raised in education that have served various communities in Dallas and beyond.Laura serves as the Director of Development for the Dallas Fort-Worth region of KIPP Texas Public Schools. In this role she is responsible for major gift fundraising in the DFW area, corporate and foundation relations, board engagement, strategic planning, and managing a portfolio of over 100 supporters.Outside of work, Laura is a Leadership Board Member for the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, where she was recognized as an Honored Hero in 2023. She is also a Chair for the Tufts Alumni Network, her alma mater. She has contributed her writings to various nonprofit sources and has designed advertisements featured in Business Journals and nonprofit publications. Laura lives in Dallas with her husband Michael and their young son. She enjoys documentaries, workout classes, Scandinavian travel and culture, and cooking.
