𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥?⁣The Hub of a Travel is a single platform that contains all the formation that any tourism professional may need to improve its competitiveness.⁣⁣We offer online tourism training with a practical approach and varied theme, taught by active professionals and with an innovative format designed to hook the client’s attention.⁣⁣𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞⁣The idea of creating a platform for tourism training had been running through my mind for quite some time, however, I never prioritised it because I had other projects with short-term results on my hands.⁣⁣When the pandemic first started and The Plan of Action for Tourism was launched, I saw it clear that an opportunity had presented itself. Tourism professionals needed a self-esteem boost, so, what better way than to capitalise their knowledge and make them feel important?⁣⁣Adding to that, the sector was about to face a crucial and challenging moment, in which all of us that belong to it, had to adapt and attempt to give the best of us to improve the sector and assure a strong comeback.⁣⁣And so, I managed to find others who were equally passionate about this project, we gave it sweat, blood and tears, and we were able to create 22 courses in record time.⁣⁣My role is basically having a creative vision, being the project’s representative, overseeing public relations to gather more participants, and coordinating the team and make sure they have what they need to make everything work.⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣It’s a project of which I am very fond of, and which fills me with enthusiasm because of how many passionate professionals have taken part in it.⁣⁣Learning outcomes:⁣✔️In a short period of time, giving shape to a project this size⁣✔️The opportunity to get to know so many professionals in this field⁣✔️Contributing to the tourism sector’s visibility by developing this project

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬?⁣It was Kruch Sidos’ forerunner company.⁣A start-up founded in 2016 with the goal of offering technologically advanced solutions for public transportation, especially in the management of electric infrastructures. EFS (Energy Flow Simulation), was the starting point for this project, offering an online platform where the users could directly simulate their web in different scenarios.⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣Learning how to work with partners with different goals and from different backgrounds.⁣⁣This was a great learning phase that overcame all expectations.⁣⁣Learning outcomes:⁣✔️Doing business with people I have not met or worked with before.⁣✔️Being able to bring value and vision to a business in a sector that’s completely new for me.

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰?⁣It is a 360º tour of your business on Google.⁣Welcome your clients to visit your venue with a virtual tour that can be found on Google Search, Google Maps and Google +.⁣⁣𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞⁣I got certified as a Trusted Photographer. This allowed me to provide the service of carrying out virtual tours for businesses.⁣However, in reality, it was like having my own business where I was given the product. I was in charge of everything: client search, developing of the marketing strategy, communication, budgeting, service performance, making sure the client was satisfied, etc.⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣I have very fond memories of this time. I felt special for working so closely with Google, and for meeting new people!⁣⁣What I am most proud of, is having been in the top list of Spain a few times (I got a little something from Google) and having created a sales’ structure.⁣⁣Learning outcomes:⁣✔️Selling to completely new clients⁣✔️Everyone being self-employed⁣✔️Managing contacts and gaining their trust (I liked having long chats with hotel managers and hearing about how they worked).

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥?⁣Digitalital (name is cool, eh?) was a company dedicated to personalised online development. Our main goal was to provide the client with the right and most efficient solution in any technological platform: websites, web apps, mobile apps, etc.⁣Our ultimate goal was to connect with the client and work closely with them, thus getting a great experience.⁣⁣𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞⁣What I really did, was being the glue that stuck the team together, and even if it was a small team, I loved seeing how the union and the purpose of the business had meaning.⁣It was my first real business. In which, I asked myself what kind of client experience I really wanted, how were we going to solve clients’ problems, timing, budgets, etc.⁣My efforts were totally focused on the client’s satisfaction.⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣It was a vital experience that helped me see what I was good at, what I wanted and what I didn’t. 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐬?⁣AppChus is an app community that offers detailed information about mobile apps to make it easier for the client to choose an app that adjusts to their specific necessities.⁣The main purpose of this platform is to facilitate the search and comparison of apps by using objective data, and therefore clearly marking the difference between similar apps.⁣⁣𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞⁣This was my first attempt at startup. The idea came to me when I realised how tedious it is to have to download and try out a series of apps when you need something specific.⁣And so, I started rounding up people from my circle that were interested in the idea. We ended up as a team of more than 10! Yes, yes… I managed to trick them!⁣Hence, my role was to shape the project, give my point of view and coordinate with the team. It felt like conducting an orchestra full of passion!⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣We presented the project in different contests, business accelerators, conferences… in order to spread the concept and get financing. I am very happy because the project aroused a lot of interest. I must confess something. The startup world really seemed to me like a parallel world, even if I only reached the gates!⁣⁣Learning outcomes:⁣✔️Managing expectations and the implication of different people (every one of them were valuable members of a team that worked hard to shape the projects)⁣✔️Publicly presenting a personal project (I presented in front of over 50 people, which at the time seemed like a lot)⁣✔️Have a clear vision in order to shape the product and lead the team

They provide digital services, including digital transformation strategy, UX, digital marketing, design, development and analysis. They form a team of over 100 people: technologists, narrators, analysts, strategists, consultants and digital minds to lead the client’s goals towards excellence through creativity, strategy and technology to boost both businesses and people’s growth.⁣⁣𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞⁣Let’s be honest, it was my first serious job, and everything was new to me. It was my first form of contact with the digital world, and it was love at first sight.⁣Consequently, my role was consisted of learning, learning and learning. As a junior consultant, I was responsible for defining the basis and details of the projects where the team worked alongside the client.⁣⁣𝐈𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧⁣This job left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. I gave the best of me on the interview and for personal reasons, I didn’t make the most of my time as an employee.
