Volunteer Director Of GenerosityNorthwest Church Orlando Aug 2019 - PresentOrlando, Florida, United StatesVolunteer Director of Northwest Church's two-year faith and giving initiative to reach a God-sized vision to build a church for generations. With the guidance of a consultant and approval of the lead pastor, led staff and volunteer teams in the planning and execution of a new faith and generosity initiative we named GO BIG. The goal: increase our members' faith and ownership of our vision, reach 100% participation, and raise $3.8 million in pledges to build the first phase of our new church campus. Responsible for overseeing the project management across teams, planning multiple phases and events with week-by-week execution, marketing communications materials development, copywriting, and making all key decisions in collaboration with the lead pastor and team. The initiative launched on March 1st as the rumblings of COVID-19 were just beginning to be heard in our country. By the 3rd week of March as all of Florida began shutting down, we quickly scrambled to move our initiative and communications to entirely online. Though we had to alter our most critical plans, including our Commitment Sunday (the culmination of all efforts where people make their 2-year giving pledge) to online, God was faithful. Despite the COVID-19's impact on our church, our families and the economy, we received nearly $3.5 million in pledges and expected giving. I served in this volunteer role full-time as a gift to my church for a season, and am continuing to work on growing a culture of giving in our church. -
