About Laura Rubio Anguiano

I graduated in Mechatronics Engineering from the Monterrey Technological Institute in 2015. Then, I enrolled Intel as a full-stack Software Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Eventually, I decided to scale up my education by applying to and getting through the admission process of the CINVESTAV Unidad Guadalajara to pursue a MSc in Control Engineering, which I obtained in 2016 with a Master Thesis related to Real-Time scheduling and thermal modeling of MPSoC systems. After graduating from the CINVESTAV I obtained a scholarship to enroll as a PhD student at the CINVESTAV in a joint doctorate program with the University of Zaragoza, focusing on the same topics I had been working on since my Master Thesis, say RT Scheduling. I completed a one-year stay with the Group of Computer Architecture (GaZ) at the Univ. of Zaragoza, and I defended my PhD thesis in December 2022. I have a solid background on modeling systems, close loop control implementation, discrete event systems, embedded systems, and computing engineering, with a five-years long research experience on real-time systems. I am currently looking for opportunities to develop my capabilities as a researcher and engineer.
