As Chief Strategy Officer, I lead the development and execution of the company's strategic and growth initiatives. As a retail automotive group this includes a heavy focus on OEM relationships and organizational structure and efficiencies. My primary goal is to expand the organization through organic and acquired growth, enhance performance, and leadership development. I have over 20 years of executive-level leadership experience in automotive in both OEM and retail industries; and 10 plus years of board level leadership experience in transportation sectors, serving the State of Texas on the Board of the TxDMV and on the Texas Transportation Commission where I have successfully managed complex challenges, transitions, and transformations for organizations of various sizes and in various stages of growth.I am also the President of GX2 Partners, a consulting business that provides strategic and business planning, team development, succession planning, executive level coaching, and organizational development consulting.I am passionate about building organizations. My leadership style puts people first, focuses on accountability, and empowers leaders to exceed expectations.I love to learn and am in a constant state of self development and professional growth. I have completed executive education programs/certificates in finance, accounting, and leadership at Columbia Business School and organizational leadership at The University of Texas-Red McCombs School of Business; and also hold my P&C insurance license in Texas.I regularly give back to my community and am an active member on the board of Child Advocates and volunteer with other local charities.I am truly at my best when involved in new and challenging environments and situations.
