In November 2006 I started working as a Spanish translator for Gameloft, within a localization team that covers more than 8 languages for the different versions of the games developed by Gameloft. The main tasks and responsibilities were translate and edit game content, press releases and other varied internal documents, as well as creating video game content.In October 2007 I became the Spanish Team Lead, extending my duties to distribute and organize the work schedule for the Spanish team, create standard documentation and guidelines for the translators support and report the process and condition of the projects to decide if they pass the localization requisites directly to the localization manager.I left Montreal at the end of 2008 and move to UK, but I kept working for Gameloft as a freelancer, working side by side with the localization team on Montreal until the end of 2009.I worked on games developed for a wide range of platforms, each one with their own standards and terminology.In June 2011 I started working at Ubisoft Montpellier as Sound Associate Producer for the project Rayman Origins, and I had also the opportunity of assisting the localization manager.In April 2013, after moving back to Montreal (Canada), I started working as Associate Project Manager for SDL.Specialties: LANGUAGES • Mother-tongue: Spanish• Fluent: English, French and CatalanCOMPUTER SKILLS• Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C++ and Object Oriented Programming.
