With over 10 years of work experience in project finance, I specialize in the origination, structuring, and execution of complex project finance transactions, with a strong focus on the energy sector. My expertise has evolved alongside the energy market's regulatory and technological developments. The portfolio I have built over the years primarily focuses on projects tied to incentivized energy generation schemes, including photovoltaic, hydroelectric, wind, and biogas plants, as well as, more recently, projects with alternative revenue schemes (PPA or pure merchant). In addition, I have recently managed several initiatives related to advanced biomethane production projects incentivized under the 2018 and 2022 decrees.Given the constant evolution of the energy sector, a significant part of my work is dedicated to studying and analyzing regulatory and technological innovations and their potential implications for bank financing (e.g., Agrivoltaics, Comunità Energetiche, BEES, and MACSE, among the most recent areas of focus).
