• Management of mammalian cells in all cell banks. • Media preparation and cell culture.• Isolation of human peripheral blood lymphocytes from whole blood and transformation by EBV.• Fusion of human EBV transformed lymphocytes with Ouri-a cells for the production of Hybridomas (PEG, Electrofusion).• Conducted pilot scale-up trials and stability testing of Hybridoma cell lines for production. Prepared technical reports on trial outcomes.• Support testing required by other team members (ELISA, Western blot, Cloning of cell lines, Fusions for the production of hybridomas, Culture of human lymphoblastoid cells).• Troubleshooting and optimisation of the cultivation of hybridomas in the ReadyToProcess WAVE 25 Bioreactor. • Created a plan for the evaluation of Electroporator machine and carried out experiments as detailed in plan and communicated findings regularly.• Technical writing: Draft and issuing all documentation/batch records for BL2 and BL3 laboratories, ensuring that procedures are updated when necessary. Performed all periodic reviews on current procedures.• Trained and updated all personnel on new documentation and new procedures that have being put in place. • Generation of data and reports to support annual product reviews.• Monitored expenditure and tracked all expenses. Highlighted spends on a regular basis.• Co-ordinate all calibrations and servicing for equipment in antibody and membrane labs. • Managed and highlighted all aspects of safety in antibody lab. Attended regular on site EHS meetings and organise monthly EHS meeting for antibody and membrane laboratories.• Indentified and implemented new safety procedures when needed.• Full safety audit in preparation for annual HSA safety audit.• Ensured incident report database was regularly updated. Assisted with licenses required by the lab in relation to GMO.
