About Laura Shack

The inspiration for Laura's career came from her mentor, Master Chef, James Beard, with whom she studied for three years.Laura launched her catering company, Placesettings, in 1980 and sucessfully ran it for ten years.Laura then moved to the Berkshires where her family has a second home. She opened the Rosborough grill in Lenox in 1993 which had a very sucessful ten year run befor she transformed it into her current restaurant, Firefly.Specialties: American cuisine with ethnic flare...............any kind of food you want......
