Convened 80 participants from 27 state education agencies to identify state policy options during the COVID-19 pandemic to support districts in reopening for the 2020–21 school year. Managed $2.6 million in subcontractors and consultants providing technical assistance to recipients of U.S. Department of Justice’s Second Chance Act.Served as project manager or task lead for a series of collaborations with the Texas Education Agency, including stakeholder engagement for the development of the state’s consolidated state plan for the Every Student Succeeds Act, the development of the Texas State Board of Education’s long-range plan, and the expansion of TEA’s local accountability system. Served as project director for Illinois Center for School Improvement’s Intentional Data Review, overseeing 9 regional teams in conducting data collection, report preparation, needs assessment, and root cause analysis for more than 60 Illinois school districts.

Served as project manager for several technical assistance resources, overseeing work of internal team members and external vendors. Collaborated with internal and external clients to launch, maintain, and grow dissemination initiatives, including websites, marketing collateral, social media, e-bulletins, publications, and media releases. Developed and managed project schedules and budgets.

Staffed and supervised cross-functional team of team of 3 in-house staff and 8 freelancers in the development of a 12-book series, raising national awareness of company’s training expertise. Supervised creation and distribution of marketing materials for afterschool program, doubling use of online resources and winning Association of Educational Publisher’s Distinguished Achievement Award.
