EntrepreneurFounded A Dog Daycare And Hotel (At The Age Of 12) Jun 1996 - Aug 2011I was and still am quite passionate about dogs and their different characters. To combine my hobby and earning some pocket money, I founded a dog daycare and hotel at the age of 12. • my services included full-time care at our home from few days till weeks• I also offered different service packages during care times (cutting nails, wash-up, training etc)• the customer acquisition: posters on local store, newspaper ads and word-of-mouth-I managed my services with customer registers (first CRM studies!) and lists of customer prefences. I met great people via this job/hobby and eventually I ended up leading and coaching dog training groups and private sessions with "problem dogs". I still occasionally coach people with their dogs, but today I mostly focus on relaxing and training with my own two dogs. The first steps as an entrepreneur really taught me how to communicate with people (I was a kid and my customers were adult dog owners), to believe in my own skills and to trust my intuition with dogs and people. To sum up, coaching dog owners is about human skills and teaching people to communicate with their dogs via strengthening owners' personal confidence and sense of humour.
