The Financial Systems Manager is a key contributor to the Global Finance team. Subject matter expert on the financial & accounting aspects of Martin-Brower’s technology platforms. Plays an integral role in the execution of the IT roadmap as a subject matter expert working cross-functionally on the global implementation of JDE and Host Analytics. Ensures the success of daily accounting and systems operations of Martin-Brower by providing/augmenting IT support, maintaining and enhancing all financial aspects of JD Edwards 9.0, Planful, and supporting Power BI.

• Define and document business requirements and configuration specifications.• Define and create reporting with meaningful metrics and KPIs ensuring the business is receiving the level of reporting they require.• Independently develop and maintain strong relationships with business and technical partners as well as customers to advance system efficiency and improve IT services, support, and customer satisfaction.• Participate in the analysis and design of system solutions, aiding and direction to development teams, leveraging a standard SDLC model.• Independently run small projects, leading application, infrastructure, and business resources utilizing a project management and solution delivery methodology.• Understand and fully utilize ITIL-type methodology for responding to functional and technical issues, from incident management, assist in technical investigation to identify root causes, creating plans and mitigation for user processes.

• Own & maintain the global general ledger chart of accounts in JDE & Host• Provide JDE system support to Global MB, Rosemont Finance & RH Corp Finance.• Document processes and procedures and provide training to MB team as needed.• Serve as escalation point for JDE system set-up & integrity issues.• Lead cross functional teams in trouble shooting JDE system issues. • Interface directly with MB system developers; work in parallel with business analysts on business requests or system issues.• Serve as subject matter expert & provide technical support (set-up AAI’s, DMAAI’s, Flex Accounting) for global JDE implementations• Advocate for finance on IT developments/enhancements of Cognos and JDE processes & reports• Act as system administrator for HOST Analytics – financial planning, reporting & consolidation tool; provide relevant guidance and training to finance team.• Act as liaison between MB and Host Analytics support team. • Support other ancillary technology tools impacting finance; Captaris Workflows, SharePoint• Support ad-hoc business requests for data extraction as needed (audits – IT, Tax, Financial)• Lead cross-functional problem solving & process improvement teams as needed.

• Manage the Chart of Accounts globally and working to create one global chart of accounts for new acquisitions.• Maintain Financial and Distribution Automated Accounting Instructions, Chart of Accounts, Business Units, Annual Close procedures, and various other JDE financial processes.• Monitor and resolve integrity and financial discrepancies in JDE Enterprise One.• Provide support for three separate instances of JDE Enterprise One around the world, North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe• Support the upgrade to Enterprise One 9.1 and localization upgrades across our JDE instances.• Member of the Finance track to implement JDE in Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, and Canada• System Administrator for Host Analytics• Provide support and reporting in Cognos 10 (Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Cubes)

Key contributor to the daily accounting and system operations and the successful output of daily, weekly and monthly reporting of The Martin-Brower Company, LLC. Provide a broad range of technical accounting and system support to the Manager of Planning & Analysis, distribution center Accounting Managers, Centralized Data Management and Shared Services. This position works closely with the IT support group. • Control General Ledger chart of account set-up and maintenance• Maintain Financial and Distribution Automated Accounting Instructions• Own financial and inventory integrity monitoring, issue identification and resolution• Document processes and procedures for issue resolution • Lead cross-functional problem solving teams• Maintain and understand JDE system financial reports• Key member of the team to upgrade JDEdwards XE to Oracle EnterpriseOne 9.0• Key member of the implementation team for Host Analytics, Financial Performance Management & Budgeting System.

• Analyze monthly financial results including comparison to plan/forecast, investigation of variances, and identification of risks and opportunities. • Responsible for all Spirits balance sheet reconciliations and preparing and posting journal entries related to inventory, advertising, and selling expense.• Manage internal planning and budget databases to create the annual sales plan.• Key member of the transition from JDEdwards planning tool to Hyperion Essbase planning, worked with management and consultants to ensure the needs of the Spirits business are met in the new system.• Automate and prepare the spirits sales force annual incentive plan goals and results.

• Enhance, coordinate, and deliver financial support to the capital expenditure approval process. • Prepare the monthly presentation deck for the capital committee meeting. • Annual planning for all Sales and Services expenses as well as revenue planning for the Plasma Protein product line.

• Audit and approve invoices for leased lines and switched assess accounts. • Perform cost analysis and research for upper management. • Maintain Access Cost Assurance database and monthly reports for all accounts.
