Laura is a qualified naturopath with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), as well as having a bachelor degree in Applied Science (Computer Science and Software Engineering).Laura grew up in the junk food household, where quick and easy meals were everyday living, fruit & vegetables were rarely promoted and cooking was not encouraged. Her diet lead to a very unhealthy lifestyle which ultimately helped her find a passion for natural medicine and how important education is in this area. The junk food lifestyle helps Laura gain insight and understanding on the difficulties people face with todays diet and lifestyle choices.Laura gained over 10 years life experience working within the corporate sector which gives her insight on how business professionals can lose their health to their jobs due to stress, long hours and poor diet preferences. Laura runs her own successful clinic in Dingley Village, as well as working with digestive health specialist Michele Wolff at Ultimate Detox Solutions for the past 2 years. Her passion for food as medicine and inspiring children to have healthier choices has led her to currently implementing after school healthy cooking classes for children within her local area of Dingley Village. Her background in computers has made her an IT saavy active member on social media and regularly posts to facebook, twitter, writes blogs and puts videos on you tube to help spread the healthy gospel.Laura uses her friendly and motivational demeanour, coupled with knowledge of the natural medicine to help make the path to life more accessible and easier for each person. She tailors plans to each individual using her knowledge of herbal medicine, food as medicine, nutritional supplementation, dietary advice, lifestyle advice and flower essences therapies. She believes that creating smaller goals rather than mountains can help people achieve new heights holistically – on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
