Taught Humanities - a two-semester required course for all undergraduate students covering the culture, music, art, and literature of western civilization from ancient Greece to the modern era, and that of six non-western cultures- Conducted interdisciplinary labs, applying cultural values to art, music, and literature.- Collaborated with art and literature faculty regarding course structure, weekly curriculum choices, interdisciplinary labs, and summative assessments.- Evaluated summative assessments for synthesis of art, music, literature, and cultural context.- Attended faculty development sessions, including a weekly discussion group with faculty and students from other departments.Taught Applied Bassoon - a required course for undergraduate music majors who play bassoon- Trained students in advanced bassoon technique, musical performance, and basic reed-making techniques.- Prepared bassoon students for recital and jury performances, evaluated all woodwind jury performances, and assessed improvement of students' musical skills.
