Recruited on a fixed term contract as Programme Manager of the £1.2 million Grassroots Grants programme to support small, local groups in Surrey, I was responsible for the successful delivery of this significant new contract at a key stage of the Community Foundation's growth. In 2009, my role developed to a permanent position and I took on responsibility for managing the Foundation's donor funds.
