Laura Kunkel is a Audit Associate at KPMG in the Northeast Commercial business unit. She completed her graduate degree at the Gabelli School of Business earning her Masters in Accounting. She also completed her undergraduate studies at the Gabelli School of Business as a Public Accounting Major and an Economics Minor. Laura has obtained her CPA license. Laura has experience in working in customer service, international travel, and leadership positions. Laura gained valuable work experience as an intern at KPMG working with 3 different engagement teams throughout the summer. The previous summer she developed through her internship in Finance Leadership Development Program at Travelers Insurance. Her accounting knowledge has improved through her membership to Beta Alpha Psi. She has proficiency in TaxSlayer, MicroStrategy, TM1, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. She has experience working with Power BI and KPMG Clara. Through her classes and experiences, she had developed superior analytical and problem solving skills, as wells as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
