Responsible for completing tax filings for HMC’s tax-exempt and taxable entities.

Women's Money Matters was formerly known as Budget Buddies, Inc. As a coaching coordinator, I trained, managed, and supported the volunteer coaches that worked with our program participants (The Buddies).

- Assisted in audits of provision for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740; and resolution of state audits of sales and use taxes. - Prepared tax documentation and related forms for federal and state income tax returns of corporations and partnerships, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs). Broadened my skills in federal income tax compliance of corporations and partnerships by focusing on the preparation of tax documentation and information forms of U.S. entities with respect to their foreign subsidiaries.- Executive member of EY Boston’s Latino Professional Network (LPN). I led the planning and execution of different workshops and activities to support the network’s mission.- Peer mentor to interns. Facilitated integration of interns by helping them understand and complete work assignments, and by serving as a reference for questions regarding the rules and procedures of the firm.- Recruiting liaison with Salem State University. Established a relationship between the firm and the university in order to attract and recruit students for internship and permanent positions.

Applied the analytical skills acquired in previous roles to manage and execute the budget of the Graduate Student Government (GSG) at Northeastern. I led the finance committee, and assisted graduate students by addressing their concerns regarding the GSG’s funding programs and initiatives.
