I'm supporting The Angel Initiative in further building the community of (NextGen) female angel investors as well as in attracting sponsors for the foundation.The Angel Initiative is on a mission to build a community of female angel investors who (together) invest in female-led startups. The foundation educates its members in the field of angel investing and offers the opportunity to invest in pre-screened female-led startups at quarterly hosted pitch events, thereby making funding more accessible to this group. As part of its program strategy Venture Café Rotterdam launched SDG House Rotterdam in 2022, SDG House Rotterdam is part of the SDG House network in The Netherlands. In Rotterdam it's our goal to support and offer the stage to initiatives by SMEs in Rotterdam that contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

At Venture Café we connect innovative startups, scale-ups and innovative SMEs and entrepreneurs to the parties they need in order to grow. Every week we host a "Thursday Gathering" with 300+ visitors. I am responsible for the program strategy of these Thursdays and its translation into inspiring sessions. Every year I craft a strategy that is aligned with influential innovation agendas to ensure our sessions are relevant to our community of innovators ánd contribute to reaching overarching economic and sustainability goals of the city of Rotterdam (think: SDGs). In support of this strategy I initiate partnerships with companies who wish to support our mission and our community, and wish to be inspired by our talented community.To name a few of my activities: I am the right hand to our Executive Director, am in charge of monthly reviews, receive (international) delegations, mentor talented interns (MBO, HBO & MSc), support our markcomm colleagues, represent Venture Café at external events, engage and maintain relationships with innovation partners, attract sponsors and maintain relations with the partners who financially support us in our non-profit mission. We are practically entrepreneurs ourselves! In other words: an exciting, rewarding and dynamic job!

Wiring for the entire Bombardier CSeries aircraft (CS100/CS300) is both designed as well as produced by Fokker Elmo. Production takes place in the Netherlands and increasingly at Chinese and Turkish facilities.I guided the day-to-day operations and was co-responsible for attaining the program’s objectives. Managed several projects within the program (e.g. cost reduction) and gave direction to the program team, thereby being co-responsible for the program results. I was one of the focal points for our international customer for matters with assembly line impact (24/7). Also prepared our C-level management for negotiations and paid monthly visits to our customer in Montréal. The Boeing Commercial account comprises the production of wire harnesses at a high volume for three different Boeing aircraft: 737, 777 and P8A. Production of these accounts takes place in China and Turkey.Responsibility of program management is to ensure that everything is in place for the operational teams to do their jobs in NL (engineering) and at the production sites. It entailed daily follow-ups on production status with our facilities in China and Turkey, solving production issues with the team, communicating daily with the customer on the production status, determining commercial actions and strategies whilst being co-responsible for program results.

The Fokker Technologies management trainee program is an intensive program that consists of on the job experience, management skills training and personal coaching. The program revolves around five individual projects that are at the heart of Fokker's business and in which personal development is key. I adopted project lead roles in 4 projects (new business, LEAN, project close out, change management) and was team leader in production (15fte). For one of these projects I temporarily moved to Izmir, Turkey for 6 months. Internship at NFIA's office in Boston, MA. The NFIA is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. I was responsible for strengthening relationships between Dutch and Eastern Canadian aerospace companies, associations and knowledge institutions and thereby creating mutual awareness of opportunities for cooperation. I mapped the aerospace sector in the Netherlands as well as in Montréal, Canada, prepared and attended network events and advised the director on opportunities and partners to meet with during visits in Montréal.

Consulting KLM Jet Center's management on competitive and strategic issues on a full-time basis. The goal of this project was to prepare the organization for the potential arrival of competitors, which would impact the company's, then, monopoly position.
