I designed and led successful organizational culture development project as a commissioned thesis work for Aviator Finland Ltd fall 2015. It is a rather big company that operates in Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The company has nearly 300 employees and a turnover of nearly 20MEur. I was assigned to give a kick start to the company’s larger effort to build a foundation of positivity to the organization. The project included trainings for the company’s middle management. I facilitated four training days for altogether 23 people. Training content was built utilizing Positive Psychology teachings. A strong emphasis was put on discussion about feedback culture and its development.As a result, the commissioner noticed significant changes in the superior group’s way of work. The overall feedback from the training day participants was very positive and I got good reviews from expertise (95%) and being invigorating (95%) as a coach. The content of the training was unanimously held as up-to-date (100%) and versatile (82%). Training methods were seen as useful (82%). I required a lot of involvement from the training day participants, which was considered to be a very good thing. Theory and practice went hand in hand, which engaged people. Later I was hired to continue the development work in Aviator Finland. I implemented the same agenda throughout the organization by facilitating training for top management and by performing weekly meetings for staff members.
