I am a postdoctoral researcher with six years of experience in cognitive neuroscience. My core competencies are independent research, scientific writing, and data analysis. My mission is to advance understanding of how the brain processes rhythm and timing in different species and contexts.In my research, I recently focused on how mammals other than humans perceive rhythm in sounds, using behavioural and neuroimaging methods. I have also collaborated with other researchers on studying rhythm and timing in clinical populations, such as patients with traumatic brain injury and REM sleep behaviour disorder. I have presented my findings to academic and general audiences and published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. I enjoy teaching and mentoring students in psychology and neuroscience.
