• Consulted for Getty-funded “Pacific Standard Time Presents: Modern Architecture” oral history as part of Pasadena Heritage’s “Pasadena 1940 Forward” program.• Researched, conducted, edited, and indexed an oral history with an architect active in Pasadena in the mid-20th century (published in May 2013).

Charlottesville, Virginia Area

• Oversaw research related to Morven – a historic estate managed by the University of Virginia Foundation – with classes, individual faculty members and students, and other scholars and collaborators.• Managed information and resources about Morven and its context, in collaboration with academic and research institutions – including the Library of Congress and Monticello – to develop Morven’s educational potential.• Co-taught U.Va. undergraduate History seminar• Prepared nomination for the Virginia Department of Historic Resources for a prehistoric archaeological site at Morven.• Developed digital content for website and for a secure social media platform for a department of the U.S. Department of State.• Wrote and presented papers at academic conferences, publications, as well as for local and national television programming.

• Co-led facility inspections as part of architectural and engineering assessment teams.• Evaluated building condition and expected replacement of architectural features and finishes, and ADA compliance for universities and government clients across the U.S.• Wrote specialized assessments for historic structures, including research of applicable federal and local preservation designations, and recommendations of appropriate methods for their rehabilitation.
