Hello! I am an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I am enthusiastic about interpreting, and being apart of an educational team to help students learn. I value communication equity, and always strive to ensure that the consumer is getting the communication access they deserve. As a part of my work experience, I have worked as a tutor to help students develop their ASL skills. A big part of my job is to help students build their confidence and their ASL skills at the same time by identifying successes in the students’ work and by identifying opportunities for improvement. A big part of nurturing students is helping them believe in themselves so that they too develop a hunger for learning ASL and developing their skills. When I am not in class or practicing interpreting, I can often be found doing something creative. My favorite type of medium is Clay, as I love making bowls and plates on a pottery wheel.
