A leading specialist technology and mechatronics engineering recruitment business founded in 2008. Reporting into the Co-Founders, my remit is to manage the internal recruitment activities for the business, including sourcing new talent, coordinating the full on-boarding process, inductions and new starter training programmes. My role also, focuses on supporting the business from an operations perspective, responsible for driving back-office functions across marketing, administration, HR and Finance Support.

Groundwork is the largest provider of National Citizens Service (NCS) programmes in London. NCS is a youth programme launched by the Government in 2011. It is designed specifically for 16 and 17 year olds across England and Northern Ireland offering the opportunity to learn new skills and get a taste of independent living. To date, over 500,000 young people have participated across the country.I was recruited to support the Staffing Manager in the delivery of the Summer 2020 programme where approximately 400 Wave Leaders and Assistant Wave Leaders were to be identified, assessed, appointed and trained. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the decision was made to cancel the summer programme and as a result my contract ended after 6 weeks. During this time I designed and delivered a bespoke LinkedIn training programme for the newly appointed staffing team.

A small independent recruitment consultancy specialising in corporate treasury. Reporting to the MD, this was a varied role responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business across talent acquisition, marketing, finance, sales and office management. I also played a key role in a number of major projects including the implementation of a new CRM database, the launch of a global salary survey and a business rebrand including new website.

Constant generation of new and existing candidates through advertising, headhunting, referrals and database searching. Developing new business through strategic client targeting and relationship building. Consistently ranked in the Top 5 Leader Board per month.
