I write original marketing copy for web sites, printed materials, radio and television ads. My specialty is polishing a client's thoughts into a clear message that entices consumers or other business owners to buy a product or service. I managed a local boutique and lunch café where each customer is warmly welcomed and treated with attentiveness, kindness and respect. On a typical day, I helped customers choose the perfect gift for a friend, listened to stories about that friend, gift wrapped, displayed jewelry, served tables, washed dishes and mopped the floor! In our down times, I updated Facebook with posts of our daily specials or new merchandise, designed our next newspaper ad or discussed an upcoming bridal luncheon with the mother of the bride. I say, "My pleasure," after I hear a "thank you" because it truly is a pleasure to serve others (AND because my first job was at Chick-fil-A)!

As assistant to the VP of Marketing, I wrote and expedited press releases, packaging materials and promotional brochures and other items for a national distributor of children's furniture. I also enjoyed coordinating and supervising product photo shoots.
