3 Consecutive Maternity Leaves in 3 elementary schools:1st: Managed case load of approx. 15 multi-grade level self-contained special needs students, scheduling, and 2 IAs. Disabilities: Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mild Cognitive Disability, Down Syndrome2nd: Managed case load of approx. 30 students, 2 IAs, co-teaching in the general classroom with grades 5 & 6, RTI reading groups, functional behavior assessment & behavior intervention plans.3rd: Managed case load of approx. 30 students in grades K,1&4, one IA, RTI reading groups, pull out math group, co-teaching.

I worked in a resource type classroom at the Primary School. I developed IEPs, participated in case conferences, administered functional behavior assessments, and created behavior intervention plans. I worked with a wonderful team of special education teachers, general education teachers, administration, and paraprofessionals. I taught small group reading and math, as well as inclusionary writing.
