Lab Instructor for CSCE 145: Algorithmic Design I

Collaborated in DARPA “Virtual Soldier Project”Assessed and developed knowledge-based middleware, APIs, asynchronous Web services, ontologies, and UML documentation, to connect individually developed applications and components from different parties and of a great variety (e.g. visualization/simulation, modeling, diagnosis, prediction, statistics, geometry, anatomy, and physiology) for development of a medical care system for diagnosis of soldier’s battlefield injuries.Designed the architecture for a exposing part of the JSim simulation package functionality as a Web service for ORNL simulations. Developed and tested the JSim Web service on the open-source Apache Axis Web Service Engine.

Introductory course to the concepts of operating systems and systems programming (I/O systems, storage devices, file systems, memory allocation, multiple-program systems, processes, interprocess communication, and synchronization).

Analyzed, designed, implemented, and documented their Web-based travel expense system. Connected the system to the project budgeting and the accounting systems to allow for the necessary workflow.

Designed and developed a commercial high-revenue-generating system for skill assessment and personalized learning plan generation that undergraduate applicants to the University of Veracruz used as part of their preparation for the admission test. Developed software for curricula, question, and assessment management. Created a training plan and support training materials for use in training workshops. Imparted training workshops at different educational institutions along the country for the users of the software.Presented our work at national conferences and workshops on educational technologies.
