First and foremost I taught. This ranged anywhere from helping children find words to use, helping them solve problems, to helping them learn. As a early childhood teacher I mainly taught children self help skills, (bathrooming, clothing themselves), social emotional coaching, and basic math, reading, art, science, dramatic play. I heavily focusedd on play and help children when needed find appropriate ways to play with each other. I also strengthened my customer service skills by greeting and speaking with parents about their children on a daily basis. I used Microsoft office often to send emails to families, and compile projects for children. I also closed the center for the majority of my time with Bernie's Place. I had attention to detail when it comes to making sure the classroom is set for the next day, cleaning, and documenting my work with checklists and daily logs. I can be trusted to work alone and can supervise others and train others with ease. A teacher is multi-tasking everyday, all day. I can safely say I multitask to an exceptional level.
