About Laurel Hamilton

Renewable professional with a passion for efficient clean solutions furthering climate goals. Laurel is the General Manager at Mayfield Renewables, leading engineering consultancy and education provider for the PV+ESS industry. She takes great pride in representing the company across the industry, connecting stakeholders to grow the resilient systems needed to power our world. She manages marketing, sales, education and overall business strategy for the company. She is driven to support getting her expert team's knowledge out where it is needed most. Laurel has worn many different hats in the solar installation field. Her path has not been a straight one, however, with a degree in Biological Anthropology from Western Washington University and a Masters in Global Public Health from George Washington University coupled with experience in design and evaluation of environmental health programs. After getting a taste of the solar industry developing an installation company in Southern California she returned to her home state to spearhead a branch of a reputable solar firm in Bend, Oregon. Tackling everything from marketing, administration, sales, design, project management and even installation has always been rooted in her passion for doing whatever it takes to help people reap the benefits of solar and further the global need for a clean future. As a NABCEP certified PV Technical Sales Professional and NABCEP Subject Matter Expert, Laurel brings a commitment to ethics and the gold standard to every project she touches. She also enjoys volunteering her time and expertise to advance solar policy, advocacy and education in the City of Bend and Oregon state, and as a volunteer project manager for nonprofit Twende Solar.
