As production manager at Channel One, I acted as a liaison between the client and our editors. I ensured that we had all the necessary materials to finish a production on time and on budget. I coordinated weekly production and shipment of commercials for one of the largest furniture retailers in south Louisiana. I have written various scripts including 30-second commercials, marketing videos and even a political speech. I managed the production schedule, proofed spots, wrote press releases and attended new client meetings to attain new business. I also redesigned the Channel One website.

I was responsible for several clients, the largest being American Airlines. As an intern, I wrote media pitches for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and compiled 4 media audits for American Airlines, including print and broadcast media. I was instrumental in presenting and crafting a successful communications plan for the promotion of the Austin College Leadership Award which led to new business. I worked offsite for the clients working with the media for press releases and press conferences.
