As the creative director and an owner of Firestar Branding, I provide design direction and creative solutions for our healthcare and hospice clients to help them raise brand awareness. I launched the company in 2008, with a background in small business marketing and design and just a couple of clients (initially named Laurel Hostetler Design and later LH Design). Over the years, the company evolved to meet the needs of our clients and expanded our service offerings along the way while also specializing in serving the hospice and healthcare markets. Today, Firestar Branding offers promotional and marketing supply items like logoed giveaways and promotional items, branded apparel and scrubs, custom printed educational materials, referral thank yous, patient gifts, and employee incentives and awards. Part-time position with a biographical art company. Provided writing, graphic design, marketing, and website support.

Oversaw office operations, managed creative marketing projects, wrote a monthly health tips e-newsletter, and designed the company's magazine publication, The Connection: Your Guide to Better Living.
