These include students with a variety of unique needs, including autism, mental health disabilities including PTSD, anxiety, complex neurological/ neuropsychiatric disorders, early childhood education, Down syndrome, and medically complex disabilities. Work product includes strategic plans for IEP qualification for Individualized Education Programs and successful placements into programs which are most appropriate, in the student's least restrictive environment (LRE). School observations and reports provided, as needed. Resource and referral for outside providers and assistance with MA service delivery systems (is: DDS, DMH, MassHealth) also provided. Work with diverse children and families including English Language Learners, transitions from environment or location including immigrants or refugees, children who experiences trauma including witnessing domestic violence, and those who have developmental challenges that require complex assessment/service provision inside and outside of schools. I have been recognized for my work to advocate for students who have special challenges due to race, trauma, and who identify as LGQTQIA+.
