I am affluent in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign. I am skilled at using both a Mac and PC computer. I completed several logo designs for various small businesses as well as the Timpview High School Ballroom Dance team in Provo School District. I also was commissioned by Principal Guzman at Provo Peaks Elementary (Provo School District) to design and create an educational infographic to be displayed in classrooms and school hallways. Provo, Utah Area

I was hired mid school year on short notice and seamlessly transitioned into Provo School District. I created a bilingual class website in Spanish and English for parents and students. I created custom educational videos for classroom use, as well as tailoring and editing lengthy educational videos using iMovie. I am highly proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Apple iWorks. I created custom educational worksheets and handouts and translated several into Spanish. I spoke Spanish at Parent Teacher Conferences as well as English. I am currently teaching myself Mandarin Chinese. I selected and designed studio art projects to align with State Standards and Provo School District goals. While I was teaching at Centennial Middle School (grades 7-8), I taught a variety of classes including Art 1, Art 2, Illustration & Animation, Illustration & Design, and Advanced Art. I implemented and lead an after-school Art Club. The art department greatly expanded while I was there, so much that they had to hire a third new art teacher to meet the demand.

Spanish Fork, Utah

I was commissioned on a freelance basis by a variety of clientele to paint Miniature Figurines for table top gaming. I custom painted figurines approximately 1 inch tall according to industry determined color schemes as well as client's individual specifications. I communicated directly with clients throughout the process. I completed all projects before the required deadlines. I went above and beyond in detailing faces, shading, emblem painting, and applying textures to the base. The majority of my commissions were comprised of 30-60 pieces to be painted cohesively.

Heber City, Ut

I was responsible for promoting the business and interacting with prospective and current clients. I lead tours of the facility and enrolled new families. I created the employee schedule and handled employee disputes. I established a rapport with employees to create a positive work environment. I monitored classrooms during employee lunch breaks. I coordinated directly with the off-site Director of Creekside Kids Academy in order to manage the facility and meet the goals of the academy. I routinely inspected the facility for safety issues, cleanliness, and repairs to maintain a consistent environment. As a graphic designer, I created modern, informative charts and posters to promote work flow.

I taught at East Minico Middle School, Grades 6-8. I taught Beginning, Intermediate, & Advanced Art in a trimester schedule. I prepared custom art lessons based on the current students' needs. I created informational documents with a user friendly design in student-friendly terminology. I created presentations using current software and technology such as iMovie, Apple TV, projectors, document cameras, and Macbook computers. I managed the art budget and student class fees. I was a chaperone for the East Minico Middle School Ski Club for students. I monitored students during lengthy bus rides and trips. I promoted school spirit and school pride.

I promoted the business at various sites in our door to door free sandwich promotional program. I designed and printed custom apparel and digital print according to customer specifications, with professional computer programs and software. I scanned, copied, printed, faxed, and resized images and documents with an extensive copier machine. I safely operated screen printing and heat press equipment at high temperatures. I laminated and trimmed printed materials. I answered phone calls, greeted customers, operated a cash register, and organized computer files and hard-copy catalogs.

I taught seasonally at Bright Beginnings Child Care and worked with all age groups from 0-12 years. I was a Pre School Head teacher for the 4 year old classroom, as well as an Assistant Head Teacher for the school-aged after-school and summer program (ages 5-12). I created Lesson plans and assessed skills and abilities of students to foster further development. I tutored children in reading, writing, counting, and elementary-level mathematics. I organized and decorated the classroom to create a positive environment for social and intellectual growth. I arranged and supervised field trips to local parks and recreational facilities.
