Every professional role I've taken throughout my career has been about connection. As a hospice/palliative care social worker I was lucky to be present for my patients and their families during some of their most emotionally charged moments. When I switched gears to start a personal styling business, I knew I wanted to creatively connect with each of my clients via style, but on a deeper level. I parlayed my ability to quickly assess and respond to varied situations into a thriving business that allows me both creativity and connection. As a personal stylist & wardrobe consultant, I help men and women discover the style that makes them feel most creatively expressed so they can fully embody their professional and personal goals. I feel most effective when working with creative and driven professionals who need a style that easily transitions from work to play without sacrificing comfort or personality. I love helping people figure out how to align their seemingly contradictory personal traits (like athletic/romantic, bohemian/ambitious, or edgy/trustworthy) with the clothing they wear. There's nothing more rewarding than hearing how much a client's confidence (& life) has improved once they've aligned their style with their real personality. And believe it or not, we have a LOT of fun during the process too!My one on one work with clients has led to the creation of my 4-week online training course, The Style Shift Workshop, which helps people all over the world discover their own most confident style. Additionally, I collaborate with Savilino Design as a style consultant to create head to toe custom and sourced uniforms for hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Clients include the Westin Austin, The Four Seasons Austin, and The Andaz Scottsdale. I am also a mentor to up-and-coming stylists through The Paid Stylist Committed Program.
