There's no one right way for a community to fiscally recover from a disaster. But there are lots of wrong ways. I help steer client communities away from recovery process pitfalls. I work to understand the bigger picture and find & layer funding to get to the desired goal. I’m a funding navigator, of sorts. For communities that don’t think they need a navigator, my knowledge and experience have been distilled into ER Assist’s grant administration tools. Communities using this software find a grant admin costs savings of approx. 50%. That’s kind of a big deal, no matter who your math teacher was. My bread and butter are expense and compliance documentation. I turn documents into data, and data into funding. Spreadsheets are my happy place (nope, not kidding).
