Laurel McCarthy is a Data Analyst at Construction Partners, Inc. She is focused on developing and scaling the organizations energy management program to improve energy efficiency and aid in the reduction of the embodied carbon in our transportation infrastructure. Applying her background in mathematics and statistics, she is creating tools that streamline data analysis and present results in a clear, visual manner for key stakeholders to make informed decisions.Prior to her role with CPI, Laurel was a Product Manager for the Product and Business Development team at MetLife Legal Plans. In this role, she was responsible for understanding the market and core customers, their problems, where they find value and identify opportunities to remove friction and create delight. In addition, Laurel supported product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including developing business cases, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and working with various internal and external partners to source, develop, test and implement solutions. Laurel holds a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University with a minor in Statistics.
