Laurel manages the company's marketing, customer service, and strategic growth and development. She has prepared and published hundreds of luxury food recipes, and written dozens of articles, many of which can be seen on Mirepoix USA’s YouTube Channel, blog, and various culinary social networks. Laurel is a Luxury Expert Contributor for EAT, LOVE, SAVOR magazine and has been featured in Bloomberg, Reuters, The San Francisco Chronicle, ABC news, CNBC news, France 2, The Nation’s Restaurant News, Reno Gazette Journal, among others.Laurel's background includes launching and managing a music promotion and management company in the late 1980′s, best known for promoting hundreds of rock concerts with bands such as Green Day, Primus, and The Violent Femmes. Laurel's extensive event management background has been key, allowing Laurel to expand Mirepoix USA's offerings to include Foie Gras Tasting and Wine Pairing events offered across the country as well as luxury culinary tours in Italy, France and the US.
