I worked with Dr. Jason Sexton to study fitness patterns (height, fecundity, abundance) of seven floral species in alpine meadows in Yosemite during the middle of California's drought. The research internship included literature review, experimental design, field work, statistical analysis, writing and a final presentation within ten weeks.The project was funded by the National Science Foundation through their Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program.
