I was born in Chicago Illinois, and then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. I lived in Fort Collins until I moved to Lawrence Kansas to attend the University of Kansas. I am enrolled as a Freshman majoring in marketing with a minor in journalism. I have always been interested in pursuing business in one way or another. I was involved in DECA, a competitive business club, all four years of high school which inspired me to enter the business world. I have always loved working with others, problem-solving, and being creative. These are all skills utilized in marketing which is one of the reasons I am pursuing a marketing degree.I love traveling. Being able to experience new cultures and diverse lifestyles is eye-opening and extremely educational. I plan on doing a study abroad program through the University of Kansas my junior year. This will help me with my future career in marketing and will prepare me to work and collaborate with people from different countries, which is very useful in the business world.
