I am a graduate of Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business, with a degree in entrepreneurship. I am a very gregarious, outgoing, and committed individual with strong work ethic. Many of my work experiences are listed in detail below.My most recent experience has been working as a Golf Professional year round, at Macatawa Country Club in Holland, Michigan. I manage the day-to-day operations of the Golf Shop, outside staff, tournaments, inventory, and marketing. I have developed many exceptional relationships with members, guests, and staff.I moved to Charleston, SC in January 2021 for new experiences and to make new connections. I worked at two sister golf courses, Rivertowne CC and Snee Farm CC, as an Assistant Golf Professional. I ran and managed the golf shop as well as outside staff. I helped run tournaments as well as managed the marketing platforms including creating the monthly newsletter. Over the summer of 2019, I worked at Bent Pine Golf Course where I ran the daily operations of the clubhouse including clerk, bartender, and beverage cart. We also prepared for events, outings, and leagues days to hours in advance. After two and a half months of working there, I was promoted to manager because of my ability to accomplish tasks efficiently and develop personal relationships with customers.Starting September 2018, I started volunteering two hours a week at a Kalamazoo chocolate shop as a Marketing Intern, called Confections with Convictions. My supervisor promoted me to Marketing Manager, in September 2019, so I ran all of our social media pages as well as creating content for promotional emails. My experience here has helped me learn that each business has their own purpose and their brand should be based around their mission. In 2014, I started working at my father's business, Trophy House and Jones Sports, in Muskegon, Michigan. Over five years, I worked in almost every department including: screen printing, heat press, inventory, engraving, and retail. Working here has allowed me to develop customer service and I am enthusiastic and professional towards customers and coworkers because of it and the other positions I had experience in. In February 2018, I started a small t-shirt company that I’ve been very passionate about for several years now called Simply Bliss. I wanted to promote Muskegon by providing comfort in a shirt with minimalistic designs, representing the lake shore and the city. Pursuing my idea, that I was very eager to start, has been one of my biggest accomplishments.
