Lauren began her career as a classroom teacher teaching secondary English. Her career brought her down paths of supporting teachers across content areas and grade levels in their different curriculums. She has consulted with schools and teachers in the realm of using data to drive instruction, classroom management, and classroom culture change. In addition to being elected to to state educational committees, Lauren has done student advocacy work and created many curriculum materials for educators all over the country. She has contracted with companies to deliver professional development across her state and held educational leadership positions within schools. In her experience as a principal, she has had a staff and maintained multiple budgets. She has worked for the private sector managing accounts across the nation to provide professional development, custom content, and support to their staff members and students. However, she missed the opportunity to work with students in a classroom setting. She now teaches and coaches other teachers in a high school setting. Lauren is a strong written communicator-she has written for magazines and other outlets. She is motivated and driven as well as capable of creating and managing her own schedule to meet all set goals efficiently.
