Responsible for the management of a regulatory program governing the use and development of estuarine/riverine areas, tidal wetlands, and coastal primary sand dunes/beaches in assigned geographic area.Provided technical assistance and guidance to local wetlands boards and local government officials in their administration and enforcement of the Virginia tidal wetlands and/or coastal primary sand dune/beaches ordinance.

With the help of established chapters within the company, recruited a launch committee, created a developing professionals group for the Virginia offices, and planned and implemented lectures and events.The Developing Professional Group (DPG) is a peer network within Stantec aimed at connecting members with peers, leadership, professional development, and the community.

Helped clients navigate the federal and state permitting process to get to work.

Developed and implemented a standardized procedure for coordinating agency review and scoping comments on environmental documents. Was recognized for the Division’s improved and revamped review of documents by DEQ’s Office of Environmental Impact Review.

Mastered all aspects of oyster aquaculture including spawning, algae culture, nursery, field grow out, ploidy analysis and disease analysis
