Working alongside lead engineers provided me with an insight into working within an engineering environment as well as developing my confidence with problem solving, as well as demonstrating my ability to work independently. On numerous occasions I had to adapt my outlook to fix specific problems, which was both stimulating and challenging. The Longannet Internship provided an excellent opportunity for me to gain valuable hands on experience within the largest coal fired power station in Europe. Show less
