As an intern for Stellar Solutions, I worked on the Orion Program at Lockheed Martin in both Summer '19 and '20 solving real, engineering problems in order to increase efficiency of testing and pursue the goal of sending humanity back to the moon.In 2019, I spent the first half of the summer working in an anechoic chamber testing the antennas used to stream video taken on Orion. This involved researching and writing scripts in Linux, building the test set up, and collecting data in order to ensure the antennas functioned properly. The second half of the summer, I worked with the Avionics, Power, and Wiring team to test the redundant avionics systems. I became a certified Test Engineer, wrote and executed a procedure, and wrote a script that streamlined the verification report writing process.
