Experience in this role to date includes:- Change management involving the reform of regulatory services within the organisation, including programme initiation and set up using Agile methodologies, stakeholder management and the development of the Programme Initiation Document - Preparation of workload plans in response to the Covid-19 pandemic- Preparation and submission of written evidence for Parliamentary Committee hearings- Design and creation of staff training modules as part of a project to simplify mandatory regulatory training- Working as part of the team leading and co-ordinating EU Exit work (including authoring staff messaging, facilitating stakeholder interaction outside of the organisation and publishing external messaging)- Leading European projects involving literature review, survey design, analysis and report writing on the challenges of implementing environmental regulations, engendering effective partnership working across agencies and EU funded structural reform support - Risk monitoring and management surrounding a range of areas in relation to the war in Ukraine- Part of the team performing a refresh of the current Regulatory Strategy- Application of PuMP measures in business and corporate planning and reporting - Implementation of updated legislation surrounding compliance and enforcement - Successful implementation of a digital Safety Cover solution for 1300 staff members

Working within the wider Communications and Marketing team and focusing on internal communications to staff. Key projects and responsibilities included:- Drafting and designing all staff publications and facilitating the delivery of these to staff- Working with internal groups in the organisation to improve their own communication strategies, specifically how best to interact with their stakeholders for more beneficial outcomes- Managing multiple weekly staff messages. This included managing content and systems (Poppulo and Umbraco), updating staff databases and sending these messages out according to schedule- Assisting on the SEPA media desk. This involved taking enquiries, working with colleagues across the organisation to develop a SEPA response and sending this out

Working across 4 different teams within the organisation to gain a broad understanding of the importance of environmental regulation. Key projects and experiences included:- Working with stakeholders and partners to develop and complete projects to achieve positive environmental outcomes. This included working on City Deals and working to deliver projects at EU level - Report writing and presenting innovative ideas to the organisation. Writing funding bids and drafting strategies to integrate international and national frameworks into organisational processes and procedures - Future proofing of SEPA processes as well as infrastructure, through risk assessments and modelling- Developing and implementing a sectoral approach to regulation across Scotland to encourage beyond compliance actions

In my role within BBC Audience Services I worked as part of a pioneering trial using multiple social media interfaces to connect with members of the public. This involved:-Answering questions and queries about BBC iPlayer, BBC One, Two and Three -Tracking down latest information from internal databases, relaying this information to customers and ensuring the customer's questions are answered according to company policy-Working with a team using webchat and webform platforms to help users with technical queries

My role as a leader involved:-planning activities for the week in collaboration with other leaders-leading craft and sports activities within set timescales-aiding in the paperwork for the scheme (including registration, consent forms, and first aid paperwork)In my most recent role at the summer scheme I undertook an Emergency First Aid at Work course (certificate gained July, 2016) and took a lead role in the production of a musical featuring the children, including organising rehearsals, creating props and costumes, and directing lighting and staging

My role included:-greeting customers-cash handling-stock replenishment and rotation-general cleaning duties.

In my time at the School of Pharmacy, I worked in collaboration with PhD students and independently on a project based around improving the film coating used in pharmaceutical products. This involved:-extensive lab work-literature research-the production of a detailed report outlining the main findings of my study
