Supporting leadership development programs aiming to advance social justice in arts and design higher education

LUNA Community Care is a disabled workers cooperative that provides peer support,education, training, advocacy and community events centered around Neurodiversity andDisability Justice.

Thriving Places Collaborative helps community organizations and residents envision and create public spaces that are artistically engaging, environmentally regenerative, and socially just.My co-founder Jill Eshelman and team move placemaking/placekeeping projects forward through project planning & management, community engagement, and evaluation.

This time allowed me to do soul searching while taking classes, trying some consulting projects, and volunteering. I knew I would be an entrepreneur one day, but Spring 2020 when few were hiring in what I was interested in, I decided the time was right. 2020 was the year I started two new ventures.

- Worked to build a greater sense of belonging among all employees by designing and executing on employee experience initiatives including DEI, employee onboarding, recognition and rewards, workplace experience, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and community-building- Worked alongside Internal Communications, CEO's Office, Learning & Development, Recruiting, DEI, IT, and other HR teams to assess, plan, and implement organizational changes- Coordinated activities to address employee survey feedback and organizational culture change- Managed the company values revamp project- Managed employee experience and communication efforts (via print materials, email communications, intranet content, employee ambassadors, and Expo events) to facilitate moving 800+ employees to new offices- Co-developed a framework and engagement strategy for the company's volunteer and charitable giving program- Managed the global Annual Awards process including Award Committee and Chairs coordination, marketing efforts, nomination collection and organization, and Awards Ceremony logistics- Managed the Gender, Equity, & Social Inclusion working group- Launched and co-managed Abt’s first Employee Resource Group- Co-coordinated Abt’s Summer Internship Program

This time gave me space to enjoy my wedding and honeymoon. I also had weeks of jury duty and coached kid's soccer after school part-time.

- Advised customer organizations on strategic and tactical planning for their Employee Experience, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and HR initiatives using WeSpire's employee engagement web platform- Designed, launched, and reported on positive impact campaigns to support customer needs and goals- Onboarded new customers by creating launch plans, managing project tasks and timelines, and conducting trainings- Developed custom website content, communications, and graphic designs to drive employee engagement- Recruited, interviewed, hired, and managed Customer Success team interns- Investigated, processed, and resolved customer support tickets- Headed the WeSpirit team, WeSpire's internal employee engagement, volunteering, and social committee-First recipient of the "Inspired by You" Award, a peer-nominated employee award

- Supported building owners and property managers in understanding the City’s reporting requirements, obtaining utility data, and using the EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager - Conducted outreach to building owners and property managers who had not yet reported or needed follow-up after incomplete reporting- Tracked calls and emails, and identified common questions raised by property managers- Supported the development of a database of contacts that can be used for compliance and engagement on efficiency- Assisted in conducting mailings, email blasts, and other publicity for compliance- Built Boston's building energy disclosure website

- Co-planned the Greenovate Boston Community Summit, including creating and managing the event website, recruiting and training volunteers, coordinating exhibitors, supporting with outreach, and organizing event logistics- Organized the City of Boston's first used toy collection for children in need- Assisted with the transition of GreenovateBoston.org from Wordpress to NationBuilder- Maintained Greenovate Boston's customer relationship management database- Created websites for partner events on NationBuilder

- Developed and led campaigns focused on sustainable behavior change, collaborating across multiple departments as well as stakeholders outside the City of Boston- Created blog posts and social media content to promote Greenovate Boston’s initiatives, partnerships, and events- Coordinated and maintained stock of Greenovate Boston promotional items and print materials

- Assisted with program management activities including processing program registrations, organizing monthly mailings, and answering questions from commuters about our programs- Tabled at events such as transportation fairs, HR benefit fairs, and sustainability-related fairs- Created social media content to promote TMA programs, events, and relevant transportation news- Assisted with administering surveys of participants in TMA programs- Documented TMA processes and website management instructions in a highly-detailed reference guide

- Assisted with vendor and volunteer coordination for the Boston Local Food Festival- Planned revisions to the Student Membership Program to build a coalition of Massachusetts students interested in sustainable business- Researched and organized business member information in detail using Excel

- Researched effective communication strategies to help partner institutions inspire ocean conservation action - Supported head coordinator in planning and promoting World Oceans Day to reach a global audience of event organizers- Wrote blog posts to encourage environmental stewardship and conservation through daily action

- Developed marketing materials and promotional announcements to publicize the College’s sustainability-related events and initiatives - Educated peers and campus visitors about the College’s waste management practices during campus events- Maintained the “Take It or Leave It” program, a free drop-off and pick-up center for miscellaneous items

- Updated and created marketing resources concerning local, alternative transportation options- Worked to advance plans to improve bicycle storage on campus- Tabled at student orientation to provide transportation information to incoming students and parents- Organized public bike mechanics workshops

- Organized and distributed student forms and application materials- Created Excel Spreadsheets to organize department and student information- Used Qualtrics to create new online Course Evaluation survey and organize data in reports

- Researched issues that are putting orders on hold and contacting customers to resolve issues- Used Oracle to view and edit customer information- Organized customer order information and company information in Excel Spreadsheets- Performed office duties including filing, scanning, emailing
